The Capital Hotel — Timeless Elegance in the Heart of Downtown

If you want the truest downtown wedding experience in Little Rock, this is it. The Capital Hotel has been the city's gathering place for nearly 150 years — the building went up in 1872 and opened as the Capital in 1877 — and that history is written into every detail. The original cast-iron facade, marble lobby, stained glass, and sparkling chandeliers give every frame a sense of old-world grandeur that's nearly impossible to find anywhere else. Stepping outside for shots on the surrounding downtown streets is one of my favorite parts of filming here; the historic architecture and city backdrop add a texture to the film that no other venue in the market can match.

Between the marbled columns, the mezzanine, and the outdoor balcony, there's a natural elegance to every angle, and the hotel's rich, warm interiors pair beautifully with soft, intimate lighting.
